Thank you for taking this tour of the foundation for The Oscar Paz Institute, an economic development think tank creating free tools to assist students.
While this website will officially launch on Friday, January 1, 2027, I would like to share my first initiative, Free Dot Edu.
Even if students never visit this website ever again, the Free Dot Edu research report includes databases, resources, tools and programs that they can use to build their skills, their careers and their communities.
Let’s take a walk.
Free Dot Edu is letting students know that resources exist.
My research has shown that students are missing opportunities to build their futures because they are not aware of their existence.
As leadership offices develop strategies to improve literacy, graduation and employment rates as part of economic development efforts, Free Dot Edu is here to put tools in the hands of students to assist them with accomplishing their goals of building brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
Visit the Resources page to review available tools that can help students get started.
As education staff members and neighborhood organizations continue to assist students, Free Dot Edu has developed a research report to share resources that can be placed on the bulletin boards of classrooms and community centers.
I thoroughly understand that each individual student has their own life circumstances, resources available to them and definition of a successful future.
Free Dot Edu has been designed to sit with each student to ask where they are interested in going and share resources that can help them get there.
Visit the Community page to learn how Free Dot Edu assists students, education staff members and neighborhood organizations.
As you tour this platform, there are students who are currently enrolled in grades Pre-K through 12th.
In ten years, students enrolled in Preschool will begin their high school journeys, looking for resources to earn opportunities following their graduations.
To maintain this platform and to continue developing free tools for students, I have organized Pennies For A Purpose, asking for the support of those who can assist with as little as 134 pennies.
Visit the Pennies page to learn how your contribution will be used to assist the classrooms of the nation.
The purpose of this platform is to bring tools, programs and resources to the classrooms of the nation.
As an independent humanitarian, my research focuses on identifying tools that can assist students with developing their skills and earning opportunities to build their careers, their communities and their futures.
With no products to purchase, services to subscribe to or profiles to create, students can review available resources and use the tools they need without even having to share an email address to access information.
